One final post of 2015 before we fully commit to the New Year. We spent the past five days down south with James’ family, enjoying some time in moist, balmy weather complete with swimming, biking, s’mores roasting, and lots of napping and Star Wars watching. It was a nice getaway to mark the end of 2015 – and in fact, it’s where we began 2015 last January.

We returned home to VT in time for the New Year, and spent a low key evening with friends just hanging out and eating good food, before turning in for bed at 10:30pm. Today has been incredibly slow-paced and lazy. The luxury of a Friday New Year’s Day – we have the whole weekend to get our ‘ish together before we have to return to work and school. The kids are enjoying their new toys and engaged in great make believe out in the limited snow fall around our home, while James and I sip coffee by the wood stove and process all the madness slash awesomeness to come in 2016.

You’ll notice that the majority of our time was spent poolside – soaking in that Vitamin D and warm temps while we can!
