Hi, I’m Ash.
I am a Massachusetts-born Vermonter with California in her soul. I knit. I dance. I sail. I garden. I love taking pictures and telling stories. I’d love to take yours.
Dependents include one spirited four year old daughter, Addison “Sunny” Weeks, one feisty two year old daughter, Courtland “Kaki” Whaley, one super mutt, Hanna Banana, a flat-coated retriever puppy, Gladden, aka “Gladdy” the Flatty, a potbelly pig, Penelope, i.e. “Penny”, and a flock of four hens, Bunty, Edwina, Dora, and Ginger. We recently said goodbye to our amazing three-legged wonder dog, Ursa Bear. She’s the reason for our obsession with Flat-Coated Retrievers (more info about the breed here). She inspired so many with her bravery through canine cancer and life as a tripawd. She left us too early, but will always be a part of our family and Cartwheel Farm.
My partner in crime, fellow Eph, and college sweetheart, James, manages the chaos with me at our little Southwestern Vermont home, Cartwheel Farm.
