Kimmy’s 30th Birthday

Kimmy’s 30th Birthday party represented a combination of all facets of her personality. From china-set sit down tea, to casual garden party, to bonfire, tiki-bar, tuna-fest. It was a magical afternoon in Woods Hole celebrating Kimmy’s 30th year.
^^Kimmy requested a Genoise cake, that was deliciously (and beautifully) made by her BF’s father and sister.^^
^^Champagne cocktails were provided by her BF’s brother-in-law, quite the mixologist.^^
^^We set the tea table with an assortment of china and silver and unique tea cups (thanks FGM Dellie, for expanding my collection as my wedding gift! They were all put to good use!^^
^^The vintage hats, gloves and aprons from FGM Jayne were perfect – and Kimmy’s hours of tassel-making created quite the festive atmosphere.^^
^^The Carts were decked in Lily for the occasion. Getting in proper garden-party spirit.^^
^^Guests arrived and got in the spirit.^^
^^Tea was enjoyed.^^
^^We toasted and wept.^^
^^And sang to the birthday girl.^^
^^Beautiful gardens for the larger garden party.^^
^^Oysters were shucked a plenty thanks to Kimmy’s Oyster Farmer BF (not pictured above).^^
^^The littles put on an impromptu concert for the crowd.^^
^^We ended the evening at Kimmy and Jake’s outdoor tiki bar, consuming vast quantities of raw tuna by a roaring fire in a trash can. Mad Max-style.^^
