A few shots from a friend’s wedding weekend this summer that I hadn’t yet shared and loved too dearly not to post.
We’re coming down off of a beautiful weekend by another beloved lake in our lives, having spent the weekend with some of our favorite people in The Universe in James’ favorite place in The Universe. We left the girls in Vermont with my sister and her beau, and we brought Gladdy with us westward and spent a weekend walking the dogs among the glorious fall foliage and lounging by the fire place, drinking beer and catching up with some of the most thoughtful, intelligent, lovely humans we know.To have no plans, no agenda, no dependents – it was such a rare, relaxing luxury. Admittedly, we were thrilled to be reunited with our girls this evening, but we all enjoyed our weekends of play and escape. Pictures forthcoming, but for now, I present gorgeous Silver Lake…
