The Goose Bahoose

Oh how I adore that sweet sweet face. Gladden is proving to be such a loving, endearing addition to the family. She’s as soft and snuggly and wiggly as ever. We’ve been letting her spend more and more time with (supervised) free run of the house. Her favorite spot to rest (after playing and playing and playing and PLAYING with Hanna and her human sisters) is on the Victorian sofa that Ursa so adored. James and I know that we shouldn’t be indulging this furniture lounging behavior, but we feel Ursa tail thumping in approval in our hearts, so Gladdy lounges on.

While I still feel a void in my heart from Ursa’s departure, I’ve felt an expansion thanks to Gladden’s arrival. I’ll never get enough of that slinky wiggle of delight that so characterizes our Gladdy and greets us each morning.
