Style a la Cart // 2
by Ashley Weeks Cart
Whew. It was a busy work weekend, which in my world entails socializing and entertaining a really inspiring, fun group of fellow Ephs. I’m reminded why I love my job after weekends like this. I feel completely physically fatigued, but mentally and intellectually quite energized and refreshed.
I can’t get enough of contradictory emotion, eh?
On Friday evening, I rocked a dress that my Grammy (my mom’s mom) wore to Lyndon Johnson’s inauguration in 1965. She was one fashionable lady! Although, I have a feeling that she didn’t style the look with animal print like her granddaughter.
As expected, the dress was quite the conversation starter and it felt unbelievable to share its history and continue the Weeks Woman legacy. And here’s where I thank my mother for ensuring that such a special piece remain in our family’s wardrobe. Thank you for keeping Grammy’s spirit with all of us.

I’ll say it one more time — you look(ed) great.
OMG! You looked beautiful!
THANKS!!
I actually really really like the outfit:)
That is an amazing story! And it’s a beautiful dress.
