Bath Time

Bath time is still a fairly overwhelming experience. Heck, LIVING is still a fairly overwhelming experience.

I’ll let the photos do the talking.

Adventure

Doda has been in town helping since the night Courtland was born. He and Sunny go off on grand adventures every morning, allowing me and James some extra time in bed (which when you’re sleeping in 2 hour increments, is so very appreciated). Everything from trips to the play park, to walks around campus with Sunny’s baby stroller, to playing in the local stream, to rooting around vegetable gardens for treasures (the tomatoes are her favorite find).

In the afternoon, they head to the infamous Whale Pool and have a blast splishing and splashing. That pool is arguably our most essential household item.

Nicely done, Auntie Kimmy.

Lazy Days

Earlier in the week it was rainy and grey, so we snuggled up in the living room and watched a series of Wallace and Gromit movies while munching copious amounts of popcorn (an Ulmer family fav). To date, Wallace and Gromit is the only show that Sunny will sit through. She chose Courtland’s tummy time mat as her nesting spot, and curled up with her blankie. These days this household is doing a lot of snuggling and nesting, and very little else. Tis life with a newborn. And we certainly don’t mind.
