Annoyance.
by Ashley Weeks Cart
That I can’t do exactly what Jack Johnson wishes he could promise his little girl. I tell James everyday that I don’t want anything bad to ever happen to her. I know deep down that that kind of hurt is what makes us who we are, but as a parent, I can’t help but want to absorb every ounce of pain that might ever come her way and keep it from ever touching her. I wish that she could stay this innocent and sweet forever, but then that wouldn’t be a life now would it? (Click link to hear song)
You don’t ever have to feel lonely
You will never lose any tears
You don’t have to feel any sadness
When you look back only is
How can I look you in the eyes?
And tell you such big lies
The best I can do is try to show you
How to love with no fear
