Chloe herself runs a lovely Etsy shop – she’s responsible for this personal, sweet canvas to commemorate Courtland’s birth (these are great baby gifts OR wedding gifts!). And she did these custom invitations for Kaki’s FGP’s baby shower. She has a wonderful selection of holiday cards, too.

November 2013

This is going to sound like such a cliché, but where has the year gone? How is this the second to last calendar of 2013?

I found the message for November particularly touching, especially after the year we’ve had. Thanksgiving is far and away my favorite holiday of the year. Of course I love the focus on food, but I particularly love the focus on family, and gratitude. It’s a special, warm and fuzzy kind of holiday.

October 2013

Happy October! Month of ghouls, goblins and ghosts! And pumpkins, which means pumpkin seeds. HOORAH! September and October are my favorite months of the year, so I’m enjoying all this glorious fall weather as much as humanly possible. That means lunch time walks, and daily apple cider consumption, and playing in the leaves with my girls, and scarves, lots of scarves.

I am so ready for a new season. This summer was challenging, in so many ways. September is my favorite month of the year, so I am hoping that it brings healing and happier days. It helps that we will celebrate James’ 30th birthday this week, and then our 5th wedding anniversary (10 years from the day we first met) the next day. Hey-ho, May! What in the what what?! I can’t believe that spring is nearly in full swing. I arrived home from Sweden last night to flowering tree after flowering tree. I spent the night at my parents house on Cape Cod since it would NOT have been safe for me to make the full four hour drive home to Vermont with all the jet-lag. It’ll take me a few days to readjust and unlatch my arms from the embrace I’ll have wrapped around the girls upon my return this afternoon. In the interim, enjoy James’ posts and I can’t wait to share some photos from my adventures. What an amazing trip.
