“People ask me every year if I’m eager for the end of Reunion to arrive.
‘This must be so stressful. You must be so happy when it’s over. You must feel so overwhelmed.’ Or some variation…
But I genuinely love the energy, excitement and chaos that is so central to Reunion week. It builds and builds all week long until there are 3,000 purple bodies roaming around our beloved Purple Valley and it is nothing short of magic. Every. Single Year.
It takes the support and energy of so many facets of our community to make it all come together, and I’m always awed and humbled by the way all those facets work together to create this wonderful, ridiculous, fun weekend of Eph love.
And there aren’t too many other lines of work where I could claim purple hair as a perk of the job.”
