Bumbo

I don’t know whether to be more disturbed by the fact that Courtland is now strong enough to sit in the Bumbo or by James’ new tactics in seduction.

My baby girl is getting so big.

And James is taking advantage of my vulnerable state by suggesting we try for Irish Twins.

He’s reached new lows in Operation: Break the Postpartum Hiatus. I suppose we’re going on Week 8. But anything involving the word “twins” I’m going to kindly ignore.

Sunny’s Style, no. 1

Because I can barely muster the energy to shower every other day, let alone dress in more than spandex and a sports bra, I’m living vicariously through my girls. I wish Sunny’s wardrobe came in my size. Seriously. Her Momar and Auntie Kimmy have helped ensure that she’s the most stylish 28 month old I know. And so begins a series called Sunny’s Style, because lord knows she doesn’t have to look a hot mess like her Mama.

I’ll argue that that dirty, gnarly tennis ball she’s joyously clutching in the image below is to compliment her dress. Riiiight.

Cool Critters

Whenever we visit Ghillie and Ranger (James’ parents), Sunny gets to meet the coolest critters. Like here. Or during our most recent visit.

We wanted her to hop on his shell and give him a spin, but she, not to mention the tortoise, were having none of it.
